I No Longer . . .

I no longer have patience for certain things, not because I’ve become arrogant, but simply because i reached a point in my life where i do not want to waste more time with what displeases me or hurts me.

i have no patience for cynicism, excessive criticism  and demands of any nature, i lost the will to please those who do not want to smile at me. i no longer spend any single minute on those who lie or want to manipulate. i decided not to coexist any more with pretense, hypocrisy, dishonesty and cheap praise.

i do not tolerate selective erudition nor academic arrogance, i do not adjust either to popular gossiping. i hate conflict and comparisons, i believe in a world of opposites and that’s why i avoid people with rigid and inflexible personalities.

in friendship i dislike the lack of of loyalty and betrayal, i do not get along with those who do not know how to give a compliment or a word of encouragement. exaggerations bore me and i have difficulty accepting those who do not like animals. and on top of everything i have no patience for anyone who does not deserve my patience.

Cleft Chin

I have been wondering about cleft chins for some months now. I’ve finally made a resolution to find out the cause of cleft chins: namely, because it’s always on my mind. In my opinion, a man with a cleft chin is insanely attractive: He’s even sexier than a man with muscles or smile dimples.

A Cleft chin is also known as a chin dimple or is less elegantly known as a butt chin. it’s a Y-shaped fissure that looks like a dimple on a human’s chin. I’ll explain a little information of cleft chins. In normal human fetal development, the left and right sides of the lower half of the jaw fuse together before birth. In the case of cleft chins, the fusion of the two sides of the jaw don’t come together properly. As a result, the baby will be born with a cleft chin.

In other words, we can say that this physical facial feature is caused by a failure of the lower jawbone to completely fuse together during the fetal development. But a Cleft chin is not a genetic trait that can be passed down from generation to generation.

In theory, Cleft chinned parents should immediately pass the cleft chin trait to their children, but these instances don’t necessarily occur. Sometimes parents without a cleft chin can produce children with this physical trait. These sequences of events are due to the phenomenon known as variable penetrance or simply the presence of modifier genes.

What i found surprisingly interesting about people with cleft chins is that they are totally attractive. I really adore people who have cleft chins, I mean, who doesn’t love them anyway, right? John Travolta, Adele, Niall Horan, Demi Lovato, Aaron Eckhart, Ben Affleck are some Popular Celebrities that were born with Cleft chins.

Happy birthday,buddy :)

Nih anak soulmate banget deh, bukan cuma sekedar temen, sahabat, parter in crime, tukang ojek, tempat curhat ampe nangis-nangis bombay, saya gak canggung lagi sama nih anak, kalo tiap pulang kampung pasti aja selalu nyempetin ketemu bahkan hanya untuk jadi tukang ojeg aja, hehe.

The First Indonesia’s Slang Word

Actually this is about a funny story of Indonesia’s slang language.  So here’s  the story,I have a friend from the US.  He’s been learning Bahasa Indonesia for almost 10 months now. We’ve chatted almost every day since we met on the Language Exchange site. We talk about many different subjects in Bahasa Indonesia and English.  I help him with Bahasa Indonesia and he helps me with English.

Since he has test every week , I wanted to give him some entertaining ideas regarding Indonesia’s slang words. I asked him to ask one of his Bahasa Teachers about Bokep (Yup,Crazy right! 😀 )  He was  very confused at the first and asked me several times to define the word. He asked, ‘Is the word offensive?’  Assuredly I told him that ‘It’s not offensive.  Besides that, it’s a word  that will bring you happiness when you introduce it to your teacher.’

After about a week we talked via Whatsapp.  He said he was somewhat embarrassed because of the reaction of his teacher.  His teacher replied,  “Where did you learn that word?” *he exclaimed with high tone of Voice*. My USA friend answered that he knew that word from one of his Indonesian friends (Luckily he didn’t mention my name 😉 )

Pak Joe (His Bahasa Indonesia’s Teacher) told him to be careful when using words that he doesn’t know because some people like to play tricks.  Pak Joe replied “That is not a good word in Bahasa and Bokep is bla bla bla(as he explained what is bokep means)”.

When i heard about the resulting situation from using the word (bokep),  i laughed out loud hysterically . He trusted me and since that incident a week ago I’ve been wondering what other words I can present to him  Anyway, we continue to chat and have become good friends.

PS :

*Bokep (Pornographic film) – Originated from abbreviation BF which means “Blue Film”.BF is read ‘Be-Ef’,which in it’s pidgin form is read as Be-ep. the word Bokep obtained by inserting infix -ok- in between ‘Be-ep’.

*Special Thanks to Mr.T who edited my writing,i really appreciate it 🙂
